I just got done watching Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. What a huge disappointment! It was easily the worst of the 4 movies. Even worse than Temple of Doom, if you can believe that.

There was very little of the trademark humor, and what there was seemed very forced.

The acting seemed stiff. The "fun" of the movie just wasn't there. Combine all that with a crappy story and you've got a bad movie.

I agree. I saw it in the theater, something I rarely ever do, and was SO disappointed. It's hard to believe it took them 19 years to make a fourth installment and it looked like a half-assed, poorly-conceived script. Just terrible... and the ridiculous nature of the stunts and vehicle-jumping and over-the-waterfalls stuff was just laughable it was so bad.

I saw it in the theater as well. Most of it look rehashed from the earlier movies - like the chase scene through the jungle. Someone sitting infront of me said at the end of the movie said "Indiana Jones meets Close Encounters of the Third Kind".
