And that's what it's like to be a Purdue fan... they get you to believe, and then they crush your spirit.

I was feeling for you when I saw that happen. Look on the bright side though, at least you aren't a Buckeyes fan...

Wow, that's a shortsighted comment.

I don't want to hear comparisons about being a Buckeyes fan... they at least win big games sometimes and have played for the national title a whole bunch this decade.

There's no comparison to the way Purdue fans get nut-punched on a regular basis.

I'm pretty sure I have an idea of where you're coming from. I grew up in western New York during the 90s when the Bills lost 4 straight Superbowls. Even though I wasn't a Bills fan I felt their pain. Better yet I was an Oilers fan when they lost to the Bills in the biggest comeback in NFL history. And a Titans fan when they lost in the Superbowl by 1 yard. I'm a Penn State fan, enough said there and now I live in Cleveland where they win just enough to get your hopes up so they can completely crush your spirit when the inevitably lose.
