The worlds largest hand dug well was destroyed last week by a huge tornado in Kansas. Normally that event would not have much of a relation to me. However, I have visited said well. It was indeed big.

Frankly, it reminded me of National Lampoon's Vacation. Let's all drive 1000 miles out of the way to see the worlds largest pile of mud. How about that huge ball of twine in the middle of Minnesota? Let's go see that! Ever wanted to see the Lincoln Watermelon Monument? Me too! By the way, that's exactly what it sounds like. It's an Abraham Lincoln monument that is actually just a big statue of a watermelon slice.

I think it would be hilarious to spend a whole summer driving around the country getting pictures of things like that.

I once stopped and took a picture of a road sign. It was for the "Bong Recreation Area". I mean, you gotta take a picture of something like that, right?!

I've been there. It's north of Chicago. Justin and I passed it on the way to Milwaukee. It's close to Mars Cheese Castle.

I have a picture of a sign for a town in Michigan (I think) called "Climax."

Climax, this exit. Well, don't mind if I do.

Also, your plan to drive around taking pictures of these things sounds like a Bettag Spring Break.

I took a picture of a sign that said "Haunted Hoochie" when visiting OSU for a Boiler loss back in the 90s. I still have no clue what that means.

How about "Big Bone Lick" State Park in Kentucky?
Classic.
I've seen that giant ball of twine - it's big.
The coolest/weirdest place I've seen is the Corn Palace in S.Dakota. Made entirely of corn.
