I was at the airshow on Saturday, when of course it was steadily raining all day thanks to Ernesto. The F-22 Raptor was supposed to fly by that day, and only that day. Well, it never made it, so I was hoping that it would fly either yesterday or today. It was a no show yesterday, along with the F-117 Nighthawk (the stealth fighter.) Yesterday was 100% better than Saturday though. Tbe B-1 did 6 passes -- it's too big to land or takeoff from the airshow. The Blue Angels were able to do their regular routine, as opposed to their low-show on Saturday. They had a problem with one of their slot planes though; number 2. The pilot took off and just circled around and landed. He got out of the number 2 plane and into their spare number 7 plane and took right back off. Even when things go wrong, they still don't fail to put on a good show. Hopefully the Raptor flies today, but I won't be holding my breath.
