Day 2: Milwaukee Wisconsin. We drove up there from Cleveland on Monday morning. We left at 9:00 and got there at about 4:45. We walked around most of the stadium and took a lot of pictures. After that, we went to the TGI Friday's that they have inside the stadium. We sat at a window seat and watched batting practice. It was cool because they were hitting balls against the plexiglass right next to us, and into the open air section of TGIF that was right next to us. I imagine that sitting there during games would provide the best seat in the house. We were sitting in right field, in the second level of the first deck. They were good seats, and provided a good view of Bernie's Dugout (where Bernie Brewer slides down the slide when the Brewers hit a home run). The game was definately more exciting than in Pittsburgh. Richie Sexson hit 2 home runs, and the Brewers beat up on the Pirates. After the game most people stay there because they play music and close the roof. It's pretty cool to watch the roof close, and when it finally does the fans their applaud. I wonder how long that will last before the novelty wears off though. After that we left, and I bought a Sausage Race t-shirt. By the time we got outside they had already opened the roof again. I'm not sure why they close it and then re-open it, but it gives the fans some entertainment I guess. Next stop: hotel, and then on to Detroit.
