Great news today. My Grandmothers surgery was a complete success. The doctor believes that the tumor was completely isolated. The dye tests that were done to see if it had spread came back negative, but the doctor took 4 lymphnodes anyway so that they can test those to be 100% positive. So as of now, she no longer has cancer. There is no need for radiation of chemotherapy, and as long as the pathology reports on the lymphnodes come back negative, she'll be in complete remission.
